Travel Story-Lima, Peru #6 Back to Lima
It was sad because I got hurt and I had to go back my rout which usually travelers do not go back the road they once already got. I went to emergency room in Lima, hoping my nose is fine, but after taking x-ray, a doctor said that your nose was broken. What should never happen was happened unfortunately. So, it was time to make a decision how I do my travel.
My answer was “keep going my way” after taking my body rest with a cast on my nose.

Travel Story-Pisco, Peru #4 'Isla Ballestas'
After price negotiation of the ship-tour, I met other group which I have the tour together. So, our group for the tour was the tourist group from Belgium and me from Korea. But the problem was guide because he explained everything in Belgium language. Before the negotiation, the agent said there is English tour guide, but he is from Belgium, so since he met the group he only enjoyed what he guided in his language. Finally he explained me, saying ‘this is penguins.’ I said in my mind, ‘what? I know that!’.. Actually the place was not what I like, so I could be excused the situation. The only thing that I minded is the village not the tour place. Since the fatal earthquake, the poor village was still remaining destructed. I hoped this place get back their fame of the beautiful island.

Travel Story - Lima, Peru #2 food
Ceviche, which is a slightly parboil fish in hot water and seasoned by lemon such Peru styled sushi? I’m really crazy for the sushi, but it was not my taste. But if anybody comes to Peru, I really would recommend to experience to have Ceviche because this is famous food in Peru.
A pose that Americans study
When I came here and lived three roommates in Kalamazoo, Michigan almost four years ago, I wondered how postures the America roomies have been. Actually, now my posture is getting almost same with theirs. But first time when I saw they were studying on bed or lying on their face on a couch, I’ve asked ‘are you studying? That was because as I knew in Korea, we cannot study with that posture. If we do that, teacher or parent scold us saying, “Study on the right position” which is sitting down chair, standing back, and slightly bow head. Korean has thought right pose makes studying effect good and concentrate to study and even good to health such as back bone etc, and blocks the obstacle which interrupts studying. So, I’ve often listened it from my parent and many teachers. But my roomies said that they study whatever they want to have a pose, and it’s effective to each person. Soon, I started to change my position sometimes unconsciously when I studied. However, now it has problem. My back bone began to get painful, and sometimes I habit to lay off my things to do in a day which mean I’m lazy sadly…I think personally that to me, grown up by Korean traditional class, I had better have a pose what I learned except when reading books. Is that also cultural difference? I think so.

"The Lover"
"THE LOVER" by Esther Leem
I've got this book from my friend in Korea last week. Actully the author is my friend, and she wrote 100 couples' love story with their pictures. She met 100 couples, had interviewed them, and took pictures of them. Last year I heard that she was preparing to write a book, but finally this January, her book came out of the world.
A month ago, I had a mail from her, and she said " I will send you the new book, but don't feel like screwed up even if there are so many swteet stories and pictures." She knew I'm a solo...
Anyway, when I got this book last week I was so happy just because I had my friend's book and even in Korean laguage. Also some of the couples were who I've already known. Not as like her expectation, I was not hurt, and I did not feel like screwed up. That might be because I feel that they and I live in kind of different world. It's funny but true. I feel like that. During the winter, when I met her in Korea , I was told that some of the couples were broken up so they asked erase their story which she couln't but she changed their name and put the picture without their faces. That's love story which is doing now by human.
Do you love somone? Then what do you think 'love' is..?

Soul Voice
How was it? It's was so great to me. The first intro of accapella group, 'Choral Plasure' was impressive becuase I've been crazy about accapella so, I was looking to join a group if Purchase has it. The harmony made of only human's voice was always my favorit genre.
In Soul Voice ,they had each solo in every songs, and some of the soilist were amazing. I couldn't belive how the human made that voice! They were very impressive.
They are now an amateur but I expect someday they will be grown great performer.

Before the story...
Sometimes I met very dangerous people, I had got accident and hurt phisically with some activities, and I had slept in the open area accidently. However, these experieance is very very very valuable to me.
I generally met really good people, and they could be local people or the other travelers like me. The travlers were usually trying to have an effort to be close to other cultures. And we met at any place, we share how we are feeling there thru the traveling, and we are friend. This one is also important memory as well.
The traveling by myself has made me independent and it gave me the really important time to think about how I live which is more importatn what I live doing.
The story which is going to unpact is my personal story, and also I will post tome tips for future travler. This was my live lesson, and school for my life.
The catcher in the Rye
I like holden's cynical thought and speach which salinger reflected himself. Sometimes that is too cynical so I felt it's even stupid. Also, when I feel like that, the author Salinger is really awesome to me.
holden's dream which is the catcher in the rye to care children not to fall down on valley, may be the wanderer that adapted those reality or responded those reality.
Why didn't I know then.....?
